Devesh is the founder and the principal architect for Vastudev. He specializes in architecture, landscape, and Green Building Design. In addition to being trained at the School of Planning and Architecture (S.P.A) and TERI, New Delhi, he is also a certified GRIHA Evaluator. Devesh has worked on government and private projects pertaining to architecture, planning, and landscape design in varied contexts and scales. Apart from entire project management, he provides expertise in climate-responsive building and site planning, alternative and cost-effective materials and technologies, renewable energy, water, and solid waste management. He has worked with Kanvinde and has been associates with Dilip Kale in the past. Some of the astounding key landscape projects he undertook are Indian Press Centre (Delhi), DPS School (Ghaziabad and Agra), Paras Pearl multi-housing (Agra). He is affiliated with AIIA, COA, ISOLA, Aligarh Muslim University (external examiner).
Richa is the Conservation and Creative Head at Vastudev. Richa has studied architecture and heritage conservation at S.P.A, New Delhi where she is presently faculty and dissertation supervisor. Her specializations include a wide array of topics like conservation and adaptive reuse, passive design, innovative architectural forms, vernacular architecture and Structural/seismic vulnerability assessment of historic structures. She is a proud recipient of the Charles Wallace Scholarship Award (2012), ICHR Travel Grant (2014) and INTACH Research Scholarship (2015).Her fame and talent have gained accolades all over the world. She has been a visiting academic to Universities of Bath and Cardiff, UK. Her research on heritage and sustainability has been published internationally. She has worked with the Archaeological Survey of India, INTACH, SEEDS, Auroville Earth Institute (India) and ASF (UK). She is a member of Council of Architecture and ICOMOS India.
